The Bihar Association of Pathologists & Microbiologists (BAPM) promotes continuous medical education and practical learning through CME programmes and focused workshops for professionals in Pathology, Microbiology and allied diagnostic sciences.
These academic programmes provide opportunities for participants to learn from experienced faculty, discuss current diagnostic practices and enhance their practical and professional knowledge. BAPM's activities include programmes covering areas such as cytology, frozen section, HPLC, bone marrow examination and immunohistochemistry.
BAPM’s workshops are designed around focused academic and practical topics, encouraging interaction between faculty and participants and providing opportunities for discussion of diagnostic techniques and cases.
A recent example was the One Day Workshop cum CME held on 7 September 2025 at the Auditorium, SKMC, Muzaffarpur, organised by the Department of Pathology, SKMC, Muzaffarpur, in collaboration with BAPM.

Through CMEs and workshops, BAPM provides a platform for continuous learning, scientific discussion and professional interaction, complementing its annual conferences and other academic initiatives. The Association’s stated objectives include facilitating CMEs, conferences, workshops and scientific meetings and encouraging scientific presentations and professional knowledge sharing.
